To live, to love, to experience life were the things for which I thrived
to climb, to run, to soar above, made my senses feel alive.
The dreams for which I built my life were selfish, cold and lost
to get the things, to make the deals, not caring, about the costs.
But suddenly life is clearer it's true beauty seems so clean
to sit, to talk, to search my soul has now become my dream.
For I've found a place deep in my heart that's been hidden, locked up, and sealed
where poems, and thoughts, and words of kind has made my spirit healed.
A place so filled with joys and tears it helps my sorrows mend,
for I have found my ultimate truth,
the meaning of the word, Friend!!
